The wait is over! The highly anticipated Lateurlere Bar officially opened its doors last Thursday, 9 February 2023, and is now ready to serve you with its unique and high-quality offerings.
Launched in style with an exclusive event attended by high-profile guests, suppliers, foodie influencers, journalists, and the Herrmann family's friends, including the esteemed Sir George and Lady Gail, previously from Villa Maria Wines.
The launch party featured a red-carpet entrance, a selection of gin cocktails, and live entertainment from the effervescent French Toast, creating a glamorous and memorable experience for all attendees. The guests were treated to an exquisite selection of food and beverages, including oysters, The John & Liz Gin, and Margarita on Tap, which was all a big hit among the attendees.
The Lateurlere Bar honours our late Owner, John Lateurlere, who passed away last year before the bar could be launched. John had a vision of creating a welcoming and sophisticated bar.
"Opening this bar has been an emotional journey for all of us, but we are thrilled to be able to continue John’s legacy and share his vision with the world," said Liz Herrmann. "Our team has worked hard to create a space that reflects his personality and love for good food and drinks."
Located at the JetPark Hotel Auckland, The Lat Bar boasts a chic and modern ambience that is perfect for unwinding after a long day at work or catching up with friends on the weekend.
