In 1998, founders Liz Herrmann and John Lateulere opened the doors of a modest 90-room inn near Auckland Airport. The original JetPark Hotel was no more than a cozy 90-room property called "Jet Inn." But it didn’t take long for Liz and John to realize the potential for something more. In 2004, they added 45 deluxe rooms, and in 2008, another 45 rooms and apartments joined the fold. What began as a single wing quickly expanded to meet the growing needs of travellers seeking a blend of convenience and luxury near the airport.
Then came the big leap: in 2016, JetPark unveiled a brand-new conference centre and an additional wing with 60 rooms, transforming the hotel into a versatile venue for events, meetings, and memorable stays. Today, JetPark Auckland boasts 222 guest rooms, each one part of a story built on quality, care, and a deep commitment to New Zealand hospitality.
JetPark’s growth didn’t stop at Auckland. In 2015, JetPark Rotorua opened its doors, offering a welcoming retreat in one of New Zealand’s most vibrant regions. Formerly the Quality Inn, the property was transformed through extensive renovations and now includes family-friendly amenities, an outdoor spa, a swimming pool, and a cozy café.
A few years later, in 2019, JetPark Hamilton Airport Hotel became the newest addition. With modern updates and welcoming decor, this property offers a revitalizing escape with facilities like a gym, outdoor pool, and conference centre – perfect for guests looking to explore the Waikato region.
